01General

How quickly do you reply?

We reply to every enquiry within five working days, by email unless you ask us to call. If we need more information before we can answer properly, we say so in that first reply rather than leaving you waiting.

Where do you work?

We are based in London and work on projects across the United Kingdom. Design, coordination and reporting are carried out from the office, and the amount of site attendance a project needs is agreed in the scope before work begins.

How do you charge?

Every project is quoted in an itemised written proposal setting out the deliverables, exclusions, fees and programme. The scope is agreed in writing before work starts, so there are no open-ended fees. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before it begins.

What do you need to quote?

The project location, the building use, the stage the project has reached, and any drawings, surveys or existing services records you hold. If you are not sure what is relevant, send what you have and tell us what you need resolved — we will confirm what else is required before quoting.

02MEP Design

See the service
What information do you need to start an MEP design?

The project location, building use and current stage, plus any architectural and structural drawings, survey information or existing services records you hold. Tell us which questions you need resolved and we will confirm what else is required before quoting.

What file formats do you deliver for MEP design?

Drawings are issued as DWG and DXF with PDF sets for issue, and as Revit (RVT) models with IFC exports where the project is running in BIM. Clash detection reports are issued as PDF with the Navisworks (NWD) file where required. Calculations, schedules and reports are issued as PDF alongside the source spreadsheets where that is useful. Required formats are agreed in the proposal.

How are revisions handled on an MEP design?

Review points are set out in the proposal so you can comment on the design before final delivery. Revisions within the agreed scope are issued as tracked drawing revisions. Changes that alter the agreed scope are quoted before the work starts.

How are MEP design fees quoted?

We review the technical requirements and issue an itemised proposal covering deliverables, exclusions, fees and a programme. The scope is agreed in writing before any design work begins, so there are no open-ended charges.

03Project Support

See the service
What information do you need to start project support?

The project location, building use, current construction stage and the contract arrangement, along with the drawings, programme and any open issues you are tracking. We confirm what else is needed before agreeing the scope.

What file formats do you deliver for project support?

Reports, inspection records and comment schedules are issued as PDF, with editable DOCX and XLSX versions where you need to maintain them yourself. Marked-up drawings are returned in the format they were issued in, usually PDF or DWG.

How are revisions handled on project support reports?

Reporting runs to agreed review points through the project, so comments are picked up as the work progresses rather than at the end. Where a report or schedule needs reissuing, it is issued as a tracked revision.

How are project support fees quoted?

Fees are itemised in a written proposal against the agreed deliverables, visit pattern and duration, with exclusions stated. Additional site attendance or work outside the agreed scope is quoted before it starts.
